Feminism:

"The goal is to keep girls physically active, curious and assertive, and boys sensitive, verbal and studious." NPR

Two tiny ladies, who weren't very tiny to begin with. Both fell in love. The first with a boy and the second with a dog. They'd write their names in cursive until their dreams came true.

Not quite stalking. Photographs from afar. Retrieving his clothes from the garbage just to get a whiff of how he smells. Waiting outside his door to hear him make coffee in the morning. Stealing his shoes left outside and returning them with pennies inside.

Pet shops. Dog biscuits in her pockets. A piggy bank full of quarters. Rawhide bones.

Realistically.

A few years ago I wrote about where I dreamed to be in ten years. Back then, feminism hadn't really entered the picture. By 28 I would be supposedly in Italy riding on the back of my tall-dark-and-handsome's moped. We would get married and adopt cute Vietnamese babies. Perfect. Nowadays, after tasting what adulthood is like, I have a different idea I would like to share. An update on my maturity, I guess.

Hopefully by 31 I am married. Or permanently settled. Either because the sanction of marriage isn't as huge as it used to be for me. I will own a pack of Italian Greyhounds. I will also own a house or condo. I will paint my doors yellow. My mister will be smart with a real salary, and I'll be in grad school for something artsy. I will make videos of dogs. Dancing with dogs. Dancing dogs.

Semiosis

Whichever may be right, a preliminary definition of semiosis is any action or influence for communicating meaning by establishing relationships between signs which are to be interpreted by an audience.

Semiosphere is the sphere of semiosis in which sign processes operate in the set of all interconnected Umwelten
